Privacy Policy
This policy describes how the Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry app handles account, reading, and private journal data.
Who operates the app
The app is operated by Systems Logic & Automation Group LLC (SYSTALOG) for the Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry and GenImpact resource library. Questions may be sent to support@systalog.ai.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, display name, and an internal account identifier.
- Reading data: books opened, current page, completion percentage, and bookmarks.
- Private journal data: lesson answers, reflections, prayers, notes, and action points that you choose to save.
- Basic service activity: resource-open events used to calculate user counts and aggregate resource engagement.
We do not collect advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, health data, or payment information through this app.
How information is used
Account and reading data are used only to authenticate users, synchronize progress, provide bookmarks and journals, support offline continuity, secure the service, and show privacy-preserving engagement totals to authorized administrators.
Authorized ministry administrators can see registered-user totals and aggregate information about which resources are accessed. They cannot view a reader's lesson answers, reflections, prayers, or private notes through the app.
Storage, security, and service providers
Online accounts and synchronized data are stored using Supabase authentication and database services. Access controls restrict private journal records to the account that created them. On-device session credentials are stored in Apple Keychain, and offline journal data uses iOS complete file protection.
SYSTALOG personnel and infrastructure providers may access data only when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, or comply with law. We do not sell personal information, use it for cross-app tracking, or provide it to advertisers.
Children and youth participants
The app is a ministry resource and is not submitted to Apple's Kids Category. A participant under 13 should not independently create an account. A parent, legal guardian, or authorized ministry leader should provide and manage access where required by local law. Reading the bundled resources does not require access to device contacts, location, camera, or advertising identifiers.
Retention and deletion
Data is retained while an account remains active. A user can permanently delete the account inside the app by opening Account and choosing Delete account. This removes the authentication account and cascades deletion through synchronized progress, bookmarks, answers, reflections, notes, and activity records. Encrypted offline data is removed from that device at the same time. Limited encrypted backups and security logs may persist temporarily before routine expiration where operationally or legally required.
Your choices
You may choose what to write, edit an existing page reflection, sign out, or permanently delete the account. For access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions, contact support@systalog.ai.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
